Part-Time Administrative Coordinator, US Operations

Jamaica Land We Love (Jalawelo) is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable community development initiatives in Jamaica. Our mission is to empower local changemakers and communities through impactful programs rooted in Christian faith and values.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Coordinator to support our operations for approximately 20 - 25 hours each month. This part-time role involves general administrative tasks, including bookkeeping and basic support in communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy. Our office is located in Lansdale, PA, but this is a hybrid position with flexible in-office hours, allowing for some of the work to be completed remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Organize and maintain office files, records, and documents (both physical and digital).
Respond to emails, and handle correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Bookkeeping:
Handle basic bookkeeping duties, including invoice management, expense tracking, and payment processing.
Reconcile bank statements and assist with entering financial information in QuickBooks.
Communications Support:
Assist with organizational communications, including preparing newsletters, social media posts, or announcements.
Help maintain contact lists and assist with email correspondence when necessary.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with basic bookkeeping practices; experience with accounting software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
Ability to quickly learn and proficiently use new office software and productivity tools.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
