Samuel Davis

Samuel Davis is a seasoned finance professional with nearly 30 years of experience in financial oversight, reporting, compliance, and risk management within the banking and investment sectors. Currently, he serves as the Controller for the Global Wealth and Investment group at Bank of America, where he is responsible for financial and regulatory reporting.

Throughout his extensive career, Sam has overseen various funding and risk mitigation activities, including investment accounting, deal structuring, legal and policy implementation, and business partnering. His roles within the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) group at Bank of America have included positions in Corporate Treasury, Consumer, Global Financial Control, and Governance.

Sam's notable accomplishments include providing financial leadership to the Consumer COO team tasked with expense savings, supporting new funding structured transactions, leading projects to implement oversight routines for covered employees in the CFO group, modeling and valuing various funding transactions, and contributing to the administration of a mentorship program for the CFO group.

In addition to his professional achievements, Sam is actively involved in non-profit organizations. He has served as the board chairman of his church's Finance and Long Range Planning committees and as Treasurer for the Mission Committee, demonstrating his commitment to community service and leadership.
